The Bible is the written Word of God in its original
languages of Hebrew and Aramaic as contained in the
Masoretic Text which is the Old Testament; and the
language of Greek in the New Testament! Because no two
languages are exactly alike in grammatical construction,
meaning of words and structure, translations of the
scriptures from these three original languages can never
always stay exactly true to the original languages in
all instances! Hence, God preserved intact the small
Aramaic portions of His written Word in the Books of
Daniel and Ezra by not allowing the Masorites to
translate such portions from Aramaic to Hebrew although
both languages are extremely close! By God so doing, He
is demonstrating that He is protecting the very
integrity of His original Word against any alterations!
Therefore, all translations made from these original
scriptures are flawed to some degree because of the
inherent differences in languages! Additionally,
translations will also contain errors of commission and
omission and will reflect the doctrinal biases of the
authors! Notwithstanding, some translations can still be
extremely helpful but we must bear their limitations in
mind when using them. Consequently, this website, which
quotes liberally from the King James Version and the
Young’s Literal Translation of scriptures, will be
similarly flawed in the discussions presented unless the
errors in the translations were discovered beforehand
and adjusted in the discussions which is the case some
of the times!
The goal of this website is to express the teachings of
the Holy Spirit as documented in the Bible with the
utmost care!
With the recent proliferation worldwide of the damnable
doctrine of annihilation it is important to clarify that
all statements on this website that mention eternal
hell, damnation or second death refer expressly to the
unceasing torment and wrath of God upon the unsaved who
will remain alive with consciousness in the lake of fire
as shown in the following verses:
Rev 14:10
The same shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God,
which is poured out without mixture into the cup of his
indignation; and
he shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the
presence of the holy angels, and in the presence of the
Lamb:
11
And
the smoke of their torment ascendeth up for ever and
ever: and they have no rest day nor night,
who worship the beast and his image, and whosoever
receiveth the mark of his name.
Re
19:20
And the beast was taken, and with him the false prophet
that wrought miracles before him, with which he deceived
them that had received the mark of the beast, and them
that worshipped his image.
These both were cast alive into a lake of fire burning
with brimstone.
Re 20:10
And
the devil that deceived them was
cast into the
lake of fire
and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet
are, and shall be tormented day and night for ever
and ever.
Re 21:8
But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable,
and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and
idolaters, and all liars,
shall have their part in the lake which burneth with
fire and brimstone: which is the second death.
