There are very solid reasons for the Day of the Lord being 153 days starting from Sunday, May 22, 2011 (the day immediately following the end of the GT on Saturday, May 21, 2011) to Friday, October 21, 2011 which is not only the last day, the great of the Feast of Tabernacles (FOT) (John 7:37-39), but it is the 23rd day of the 7th month of the Hebrew calendar as well, featuring the most prolific number of judgment, the number 23 (See Online Hebrew Perpetual Calendar, click the “Today” button first then chose the date):

Additionally
the 150 days of the flood of Genesis 7:24 and 8:3 translates to 153 days in our
time (150/360 x 365.2422). The length of the year in 4990 B.C. was 360 days (See Biblical
Calendar – page 11) and the length of the year today is 365.2422 days.
So
there is super abundant evidence for the 153 days. And the 153 great
fishes in John 21:11 can relate to time as 153 days:
Gen
41:17 ¶ And
Pharaoh said unto Joseph, In my dream, behold, I stood
upon the bank of the river:
18
And,
behold, there came up out of the river seven kine, fatfleshed and well favoured; and
they fed in a meadow:
19
And, behold,
seven other kine came up after them, poor and very
ill favoured and leanfleshed,
such as I never saw in all the
20
And the
lean and the ill favoured kine
did eat up the first seven fat kine:
21
And when
they had eaten them up, it could not be known that they had eaten them; but
they were still ill favoured, as at the
beginning. So I awoke.
Joseph's
interpretation:
Gen 41:25 And Joseph said unto Pharaoh, The dream of
Pharaoh is one: God hath shewed Pharaoh what
he is about to do.
26
The seven good kine are
seven years;
and the seven good ears are seven years: the dream is one.
27
And the seven thin and ill favoured kine that came up after
them are seven years; and the seven empty ears blasted with the east
wind shall be seven years of famine.
28
This is
the thing which I have spoken unto Pharaoh: What God is about to do he sheweth unto Pharaoh.
So
God does use seven kine (cows) to represent seven
years and could be using 153 fish to represent the 153 days of the Day of the
Lord.
BUT
there is still another scenario which is less than 153 days but still lands in
the most important FOT and on the third day thereof and that is:
Gen
8:4 ¶ And
the ark rested <05117> in the seventh month, on the
seventeenth day of the month, upon the mountains of Ararat.
The
Hebrew calendar above shows this date as Saturday,
October 15, 2011. That will be exactly 7000 years to the very
date since the ark rested upon Ararat and the curse of the flood waters of
judgment began to roll away! God rested from his work of creation (a mirror of
resting from His work of salvation and judgment when the new earth and heaven
is perfected and without sin) on the seventh day of the week, a Saturday:
Ex
20:11 For in
six days the LORD made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them is,
and rested <05117> the seventh day: wherefore the LORD blessed the sabbath day, and hallowed it.
This
seventh day was a very special day to the Lord and so He hallowed it and
sanctified it:
Ge 2:2
And on the seventh day God ended his work which he had made; and he rested <07673> on the seventh day from
all his work which he had made.
Ge 2:3 And God blessed the seventh day, and sanctified
it: because that in it he had rested <07673> from all his work which
God created and made.
It
was a day when He had ended from all His works which were finished from the
beginning the very foundation of the earth:
Heb
4:3 For we
which have believed do enter into rest, as he said, As I have sworn in my
wrath, if they shall enter into my rest: although the works were finished
from the foundation of the world.
Ac
15:18 Known
unto God are all his works from the beginning of the world.
Now
going from the very beginning of Sunday, May 22, 2011 (the end of the GT as we
now believe goes up to May 21, 2011) to October 15, 2007 is 147 days exactly!
What is so important about the number 147?
Gen
47: 28 And
Jacob lived in the
Notice
that God breaks out the number 17 in this 147 so He wants this number to be
reckoned in our reasoning. Also, fathom who Jacob represents and what his
earthly life portrayed even as he was reckoned as the "Father" and
went to be with God eternally after 147 years!
Also,
147 factors significantly: 3 x 7 x 7 -- The purpose of God for the perfection
of this universe squared for importance!
And,
as shown above, October 15, 2011 is the third day of this most important feast
of tabernacles and Christ said to tell Herod (picturing Satan) that He would be
perfected on the third day:
Luke 13:31 ¶ The same
day there came certain of the Pharisees, saying unto him, Get thee out, and
depart hence: for Herod will kill thee.
32 And he said unto them, Go ye,
and tell that fox, Behold, I cast out devils, and I do cures to day and to
morrow, and the third day
I shall be perfected.
Could
October 15, 2011, the third day of the feast of tabernacles be the day that
Christ is perfected with all of His saints who are the fullness of His body?
Additionally,
God started creation on Sunday, the first day of the week and rested on
Saturday, the seventh day of the week. The Day of the Lord starts on Sunday,
May 22, 2011 and could possibly end 147 days later on the Saturday, October 15,
2011 thereby mirroring the seven days of creation perfectly (and 7,000 years
from the date the ark rested on Ararat and God having begun His work once more
with this second world starting with Noah) and with perfection squared with the
purpose of God both in creating and in perfecting His creation forever without
sin!
The
following pertaining to Ararat comes from the Online Bible:

A
reminder—THERE IS NO REQUIREMENT ANYWHERE IN SCRIPTURES THAT GOD MUST USE A
FEAST DAY FOR FULFILLING HIS RETURN. EVEN WHEN FEAST DAYS WERE OPERATIONAL, GOD
DID NOT ALWAYS USE THEM FOR SIGNIFICANT EVENTS. FOR EXAMPLE, THE MONUMENTAL
DESTRUCTION OF THE
2Kin 25:8 And in the fifth month, on the seventh day
of the month, which is the nineteenth year of king Nebuchadnezzar king
of Babylon, came Nebuzaradan, captain of the guard, a
servant of the king of Babylon, unto Jerusalem: {captain…:

9 And he burnt the house of

AT
THE FLOOD, THERE WERE NO FEAST DAYS ESTABLISHED. ALSO, MAY 21, 2011 (THE
PROJECTED END OF THE GREAT TRIBULATION) AND MAY 22, 2011 (THE PROJECTED
COMMENCEMENT OF THE DAY OF THE LORD) DO NOT FALL ON ANY BIBLICALLY-ESTABLISHED
FEAST DAY!
WHY
THEN IS IT NECESSARY FOR THE DAYS AFTER THE TRIBULATION (MARK 13:24) TO HAVE TO
BE 153 DAYS AND END EXACTLY ON THE LAST DAY OF THE FEAST OF TABERNACLES WHEN
ITS SIGNIFICANT STARTING POINT WAS NOT ON A FEAST DAY IN THE FIRST PLACE?
COULDN’T GOD JUSTIFIABLY USE THE 17TH DAY OF THE 7TH MONTH
AS THE ENDING POINT SINCE NOAH’S FLOOD IS A PORTRAIT OF THE FIERY JUDGMENT
(2PET 3:5-8) AND THIS WAS THE VERY DATE EXACTLY 7000 YEARS EARLIER THAN
SATURDAY, OCTOBER 15, 2011 THAT THE
Gen 8:1 ¶ And God remembered Noah,
and every living thing, and all the cattle that was with him in the ark:
and God made a wind to pass over the earth, and the waters asswaged;
2 The fountains also of the deep and the windows of
heaven were stopped, and the rain from heaven was restrained;
3 And the waters returned
from off the earth continually: and after the end of the hundred and fifty days
the waters were abated.

ADDENDUM (10/30/2008)
It
is amazing how God works! Some of us received Matt R's response below in which
he quoted some of Thomas G's initial postings on LR.
The
one posting that struck my attention is the one that the watches could be
referring to the different days during the month of October 2011 that Jesus
Christ could return. I had not seen that the watches could be making reference
to the different days that Jesus Christ could literally come to this earth for
the rapture. I had always looked at the watches as saying Jesus could come
in any of these watches in a particular night.
Now
there are three watches that Bible knows of:
Lu
12:38 And if he shall
come in the second watch, or come in the third watch, and find them
so, blessed are those servants.
Mr 6:48 And he saw them
toiling in rowing; for the wind was contrary unto them: and about the fourth watch of the
night he cometh unto them, walking upon the sea, and would have passed by them.
The
first is assumed and is not a reality! It does not exist in the Bible.
From
the study above I showed that there were three days that Jesus could literally come
to the earth during the Feast of Tabernacles in 2011 thus ending the period of
the “Day of the Lord” and each day has very strong Biblical merits. These 3
days were: day 147 or day 150 or day 153 with day one of the “Day of the Lord”
coming at the very end of the Great Tribulation on May 21, 2011.
Now
some Christians claim May 21, 2011 is the rapture with Christ coming for His
saints—that is what I would call the first watch which is not reality and is
unsupported in the Bible. However the second watch (day 147—October 15, 2011),
the third watch (day 150—October 18, 2011) and the fourth watch (day
153—October 21, 2011—the last day of the Feast of Tabernacles which last for 8
days) are all valid Biblical watches with these days being portrayed by the
night watches because the Day of the Lord is darkness:
Am 5:18 Woe unto you
that desire the day of the LORD! to what end is it for you? the day of the LORD is
darkness, and not light.
Am 5:20 Shall not the day of the LORD be
darkness, and not light? even very dark, and no
brightness in it?
If
indeed my understanding as shown above is correct then all glory to God
Almighty who has brought this understanding to light via Thomas G’s initial
postings on LR (which I was not privy to) and Matt R. emailing this information
to us all.
