The Day of the Lord which could commence at the end of May 21, 2011 (See Study on the Ten Virgins) is a period of time encompassing some days (Mark 13:24) and at a bare minimum is five months to allow for the fulfilling of:
Re 9:5 And to them it
was given that they should not kill them, but that they should be tormented five months: and their
torment was as the torment of a scorpion, when he striketh
a man.
Re 9:10
And they had tails like unto scorpions, and there were stings in
their tails: and their power was to hurt men five months.
During these five months God’s saved of earth pictured
by
Lu 1:24 And after those days his
wife Elisabeth conceived, and hid herself five months, saying, 25 Thus hath the Lord dealt with me in the days
wherein he looked on me, to take away my reproach among men.
This protection
of God’s people during these five months is further illustrated in Psalm 46:
1
¶ God is
our {the elect on earth} refuge and strength, a
very present help in trouble {the trouble will be explained in the ensuing verses}.
2
Therefore
will not we {the elect on earth
during the 5 months} fear, though the earth be removed, and though the mountains
be carried into the midst of the sea; {midst…: Heb. heart of the seas}
3
Though the waters thereof roar
and be troubled, though the mountains shake with the swelling
thereof {the events of verses 2 and 3 are
those that will occur during the 5 months}. Selah.

events of verses 3 and 4 as shown in Rev 6:12-17}, the kingdoms were

Come, behold the works of the
LORD, what desolations {5 months of
catastrophic continuous judgments} he hath made in the earth.

He maketh wars to cease unto the end of the earth; he breaketh the bow, and cutteth the
spear in sunder; he burneth the chariot in the fire.
10
Be still,
and know that I am God: I will be exalted among the heathen,
I will be exalted in the earth {at the
end of the five months every knee bows and God is exalted}.
11
The LORD of
hosts is with us; the God of Jacob is our refuge. Selah.
When the end of May 21, 2011 comes we find that a
particular sequence of events marking the Day of the Lord begins immediately:
Matt 24: 29 Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall (1)
the sun be darkened, and (2) the moon shall not give her
light, and (3) the stars shall fall from heaven, and (4) the powers of the
heavens shall be shaken:
30 And (5) then shall appear the
sign of the Son of man in heaven: and (6) then shall all the tribes of the
earth mourn, and (7) they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven
with power and great glory.
In sequences 1 through 4, we find that the sixth seal
being opened by the Lamb is what is taking place:
Rev 6:12 And I beheld
when he had opened the sixth seal, and, lo, there was a great earthquake; and
the sun became black as sackcloth of hair, and the moon became as blood;
13 And the stars of heaven fell unto the
earth, even as a fig tree casteth her untimely figs,
when she is shaken of a mighty wind.
14 And the heaven departed as a scroll
when it is rolled together; and every mountain and island were moved out of
their places.
In sequences 5 and 6, we also find the following
taking place:
Rev 6: 15 And the kings
of the earth, and the great men, and the rich men, and the chief captains, and
the mighty men, and every bondman, and every free man, hid themselves in the
dens and in the rocks of the mountains;
16 And said to the mountains and rocks,
Fall on us, and hide us from the face of him that sitteth
on the throne, and from the wrath of the Lamb:
From all I have observed in the scriptures, sequences
1 through 6 occur very rapidly immediately after the GT. Then there are some
days until sequence 7 when most of the yet unfulfilled sections of Revelation
will occur.
Thus all of unsaved mankind will know very rapidly
immediately the GT ends on May 21, 2011 that the great day of God’s wrath has
come and it has come upon them as a thief in the night (the night when no work
of salvation is possible—John 9:4):
1Th 5:2 For yourselves
know perfectly that the day of the Lord so cometh
as a thief in the night.
But the saved will know perfectly (diligently, accurately, thoroughly)
concerning the period of the Day of the Lord it will not come as a thief for
them:
1Th 5:4 But ye,
brethren, are not in darkness, that that day should overtake you as a thief.
Why? It is because the elect were saved when it was day when
the work of salvation could be done (John 9:4), not of night when no salvation
work can be done:
5 Ye are all the children of light, and
the children of the day: we are not of the night, nor of darkness.
All those not saved by May 21, 2011 (the 17th day of the second month of
the Hebrew calendar, the date exactly 7000 years earlier that God shut the
door of salvation on the first world from Adam—Gen 7:11-16) will be taken away
by the judgment of God in the darkness of night of the Day of the Lord:
Am 5:18 Woe unto you
that desire the day of the LORD! to what end is it for you? the day of the LORD is
darkness, and not light.
Am 5:20 Shall
not the day of the LORD be darkness, and not light? even
very dark, and no brightness in it?
At this time, God’s Dominion (Kingdom) is exalted above all
the earth by His judgment below represented by the ark (Christ and His Kingdom
of elect within it) rising above the judgment flood of waters that are
devastating unsaved mankind below:
Gen 7: 17 ¶ And the flood was forty
days upon the earth; and the waters increased, and bare up the ark, and it was
lift up above the earth.
18 And the waters prevailed, and were
increased greatly upon the earth; and the ark went upon the face of the waters.
19 And the waters prevailed exceedingly
upon the earth; and all the high hills, that were under the whole
heaven, were covered.
20 Fifteen cubits upward did the waters
prevail; and the mountains were covered.
21 ¶ And all flesh
died that moved upon the earth, both of fowl, and of cattle, and of beast, and
of every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth,
and every man:
22 All in whose nostrils was the
breath of life, of all that was in the dry land, died.
23 And every living substance was
destroyed which was upon the face of the ground, both man, and cattle, and the
creeping things, and the fowl of the heaven; and they were destroyed from the
earth: and Noah only remained alive, and they that were with him
in the ark.
24 And the waters prevailed upon the earth an hundred and fifty
days.
Notice that the judgment typifying the
Day of the Lord goes on for a period of one hundred and fifty days! But it took
the unsaved world of Noah as a thief in the night on the 17th day of
the second month in the 600th year of Noah:
Gen 7: 10 And it came to
pass after seven days, that the waters of the flood were upon the earth. {after…: or, on
the seventh day}
11 ¶ In the six hundredth year of Noah’s
life, in the second month, the seventeenth day of the month, the same day were
all the fountains of the great deep broken up, and the windows of heaven were
opened. {windows: or, floodgates}
12 And the rain was upon the earth forty
days and forty nights.
13 ¶ In the selfsame day entered
Noah, and Shem, and Ham, and Japheth, the sons of Noah, and Noah’s wife, and
the three wives of his sons with them, into the ark;
14 They, and every beast after his kind,
and all the cattle after their kind, and every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth after his kind, and every fowl
after his kind, every bird of every sort.
15 And they went in unto Noah into the
ark, two and two of all flesh, wherein is the breath of life.
16 And they that went in, went in male and
female of all flesh, as God had commanded him: and the LORD shut him in.
The unsaved of Noah’s day knew not when
the judgment was, they were taken as a thief in the night:
Matt 24: 38 For as in the days (the period of the GT)
that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving
in marriage, until the day
that Noe entered into the ark,
39 And knew not until the flood came,
and took them all away (sequences 1-7); so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.
Also note that it was also the very same
day that Lot was delivered from
Lu 17:28 Likewise also as it
was in the days of Lot; they did eat, they drank, they bought, they sold, they planted,
they builded; 29 But the same day that Lot went out of

beginning of the judgment started suddenly late in the night (when salvation

This sudden
judgment took the Sodomites unawares as a thief in the night!
Now, just as the
flood started on the 17th day of the second month and continued for
150 days, so shall the Day of the Lord start at the end of the GT of 8400 days
(picturing the 840 months or 70 year tribulation of Israel, 2Chr 36:21, and the
possible 70
year tribulation of Noah’s Days that ended on the 17 day of the second
month while the ark was being built) and continue with various sequences of events
of judgment after judgment for a period of days. Then we find that at the very
end of these days, but still in the period of the Day of the Lord, the next
sequences (8 and 9) of events take
place. At this point, it is unclear as to the very order of these events and as
such the order of their discussion does not necessarily reflect the order in
which they will occur. These sequences, however, do occur on the very last day
of the period of Day of the Lord and supposedly at the very end of the day as time
ends and rolls into eternity.
Within
sequences 8 and 9 we find that the heavens, elements and the earth will be
destroyed by fire:
2Pe 3:10 But the day of the Lord will come
as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great
noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the
works that are therein shall be burned up.
This day at the very end of the days of the period of
the Day of the Lord when the elements are burned up is also called the Day of
God:
2Pe 3:12 Looking for and
hasting unto the coming of the day of God, wherein
the heavens being on fire shall be dissolved, and the elements shall melt with
fervent heat?
This “Day of God” is also the last day of the five
months during which the sun is darkened and the moon turned into blood
(judgment) as part of the early sequences 1 and 2 of the period of “Day of the
Lord”:
Ac 2:20 The sun shall
be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before that great <3173> and notable
day <2250> of the Lord come:
This Day of God
is also the battle of the eternal judgment of fire:
Re 16:14 For they are the spirits
of devils, working miracles, which go forth unto the kings of the earth
and of the whole world, to gather them to the battle of that great <3173> day <2250> of God
Almighty.
Jude 1:6
And the angels which kept not their first estate, but left their own
habitation, he hath reserved in everlasting chains under darkness unto the
judgment of the great <3173> day <2250>.
Re 6:17 For the great <3173> day <2250> of his
wrath is come; and who shall be able to stand?
Re 20:7 And when the
thousand years are expired, Satan shall be loosed out of his prison,
8 And shall go out to deceive the nations
which are in the four quarters of the earth, Gog and Magog,
to gather them together to battle: the number of whom is as the sand of
the sea.
9 And they went up on the breadth of the
earth, and compassed the camp of the saints about, and the beloved city: and
fire came down from God out of heaven, and devoured them.
10 And the devil that deceived them was
cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet
are, and shall be tormented day and night for ever and ever.
11 ¶ And I saw a great white
throne, and him that sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled
away; and there was found no place for them.
12 And I saw the dead, small
and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was
opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those
things which were written in the books, according to their works.
13 And the sea gave up the dead which were
in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they
were judged every man according to their works. {hell: or, the grave}
14 And death and hell were cast into the
lake of fire. This is the second death.
15 And whosoever was not found written in
the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.
This day of God is also the day when the saved of earth will
eternally drink of the waters of Christ’s Holy Spirit after being clothed upon
with their eternal spiritual bodies at the ingathering of all the elect at the
marriage supper of the Lamb, being symbolized by the events of the Feast of
Ingathering (or Tabernacles) which celebrated the end of the wilderness journey
of 40 years during which the Israelites dwelt in protective booths or
coverings:
Joh 7:37 In the last day <2250>, that great <3173> day
of the feast, Jesus stood and cried, saying, If any man thirst, let him come unto me, and drink. 38 He
that believeth on me, as the scripture hath said, out of his belly shall flow
rivers of living water. 39 (But this spake
he of the Spirit, which they that believe on him should receive: for the Holy
Ghost was not yet given; because that Jesus was not yet glorified.)
The key phrase here is that “Jesus was not yet
glorified”. When will Jesus Christ be ultimately glorified? God tells us:
Joh 17:10 And all mine
are thine, and thine are
mine; and I (Jesus Christ) am glorified in them (the saints).
2Th 1:10 When he (Jesus
Christ) shall come to be glorified in his
saints, and to be admired in all them that believe (because our testimony among
you was believed) in that day.
It is in “that day” when Christ at His second physical
coming is finally revealed outwardly to His saints that He is glorified in
them! And so this is the day that He calls them to receive the eternal waters
of the Holy Spirit in their composite being of soul and glorified bodies at the
marriage supper of the lamb:
Rev 19:5 ¶ And a voice
came out of the throne, saying, Praise our God, all ye his servants, and ye
that fear him, both small and great.
6 And I heard as it were the voice of a
great multitude, and as the voice of many waters, and as the voice of mighty thunderings, saying, Alleluia: for the Lord God omnipotent reigneth.
7 Let us be glad and rejoice, and give honour
to him: for the marriage of the Lamb is come, and his wife hath made herself
ready.
8 And to her was granted that she should
be arrayed in fine linen, clean and white: for the fine linen is the
righteousness of saints. {white: or, bright}
9 And he saith
unto me, Write, Blessed are they which are called unto the marriage
supper of the Lamb. And he saith unto me, These are the true sayings of God.
1Cor 15: 49 And as we have
borne the image of the earthy, we shall also bear the image of the heavenly.
50 Now this I say, brethren, that flesh
and blood cannot inherit the
51 ¶ Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall
all be changed,
52 In a moment, in the twinkling of an
eye, at the last trump:
for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we
shall be changed.
53 For this corruptible must put on
incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality.
54 So when this corruptible shall have
put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall
be brought to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in
victory.
Re 8:6 And the seven angels which had the seven
trumpets prepared themselves to sound.
Re 11: 15 And the seventh angel sounded;
and there were great voices in heaven, saying, The kingdoms of this world are become the kingdoms
of our Lord, and of his Christ; and he shall reign for ever and ever…….
18 And the nations were angry, and thy
wrath is come, and the time of the dead, that they should be judged, and that thou shouldest
give reward unto thy servants the prophets, and to the saints, and them that
fear thy name, small and great; and shouldest
destroy them which destroy the earth. {destroy
the earth: or, corrupt the earth}
19 And the
Re 21:1 ¶ And I saw a new
heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed
away; and there was no more sea.
2 And I John saw the holy city, new
Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.
3 And I heard a great voice out of heaven
saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell
with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and
be their God.
4 And God shall wipe away all tears from
their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying,
neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.
5 And he that sat upon the throne said,
Behold, I make all things new. And he said unto me, Write: for these words are
true and faithful.
6 And he said unto me, It is done. I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning
and the end. I will give unto him that is athirst of the fountain of the water
of life freely.
John 7:37-39 is therefore NOT establishing a premise
for new salvation of souls in the time after the GT through the last day of
this earth’s existence. On the contrary, John 7:37-39 is portraying the very
end (the Omega-the last day, the great day) when the water of life is freely
given eternally establishing the very completion of the elects’ salvation in
their composite being of souls and immortal bodies which salvation first
commenced when their souls were saved in time when it was yet day before the
night came when no man could work.
The final sequence (#10) is:
1Cor 15:24 Then cometh the end, when he shall have
delivered up the kingdom to God, even the Father; when he shall have put down
all rule and all authority and power.
25 For he must reign, till he hath put all
enemies under his feet.
26 The last enemy that shall be
destroyed is death.
27 For he hath put all things under his
feet. But when he saith all things are put under him,
it is manifest that he (God, the Father) is excepted, which did put all things under him (Jesus Christ-God, the Son).
28 And when all things shall be
subdued unto him, then shall the Son also himself be subject unto him that put
all things under him, that God may be all in all.
The End.
